He was married to Elizabeth Fuchs (from Germany) at some time in the late 1890's. They had two children: Florence,b. @ 1898 and John Frederick, b. in 1900. Frederick is listed in an old phone book from Brookhaven Twnshp in Suffolk County,L.I. as living in Rocky Point and being a farmer. Although I have no records yet of Frederick being married prior to ELizabeth Fuchs, he must have been. In the 1900 census,there are other children listed: Geo, Lizzie, Amanda,all born between 1889-1894. Since I have John Frederick's birth certificate, I know that only he and Florence are Elizabeth Fuchs' children. " Have you tried the Italian Gen. site? they have many early marriages and death certificates listed on their database.
