I've "rescued" an old photograph identified as James STEWART which was taken at the Weller Studio in Palmyra, Wisconsin. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1870's with James likely in his 20's at the time it was taken. Based on limited research I believe that this is a photograph of James A. STEWART b. 28 May 1845 in Elizabeth, New Jersey to parents George STEWART (b. 1817 in Sligo, Ireland) and Roxana Abigail BEACH (b. 1817 from the Bahamas). James married Julia A. CAREY (b. 2 Feb 1849 in New York, NY) on 1 Nov 1866 in Jefferson, WI and together they had 8 children including, Ella Mabel "Belle"; Hattie M.; George Mark; Irvin Lewis; Lenore B.; Elmer J.; Chester R.; and Harry C. STEWART all born between 1869 and 1886 in Jefferson City and River Falls, WI. James died 10 May 1918 in River Falls, WI.
