    3. Dear Friends, I'll be traveling into NYC either this Thursday, or next Monday, depending upon how fast readers respond. This is a four hour round trip so I need multiple orders to schedule it. At the NYC Municipal Archives I'll research Births, Marriages, and Deaths, Marriages Licenses [pre-marriage 1908-1951 only], City Directories, and Manhattan & Brooklyn Birth Index Films...so far! At Surrogate's I'll be searching Wills [yes, my TN friend that includes you]. At New York COUNTY Clerk I'll be checking business start ups. Interested?     3. Barb, I am looking for my great grandmothers birth I have several birthdates . would it be possible to check and see when she was really born ? Frieda Rose Singler Daughter of Benedict Singler & Louisa M Fritz They were married 11 Oct 1873 in NYC, so maybe she was born out of wedlock, which might explain all the different dates I am seeing. I have his arrival date of 27 Aug 1871, The first address I have is 129 Pitt street, manhattan in 1876 She would be first generation , so language may also be the reason. Birth years start in 1871 - 1876 Birth Month looks to be Feb Birth dates could be 27 or 28 If you have time and can find her actual birth information, I would greatly appreciate.
