At that time I didn't know about Newspaper Archives. Some customer complaints, filed through the Iowa Attorney General's Office, were that members could not cancel subscription renewals, receive responses to phone calls and emails, and receive legitimate refunds. Newspaper Archives is banned from misleading customers to make donations when they engage services. We've encountered similar frustrations with online services. Let's hope that this case sets a precedent.
