    3. Diane, I have looked at Mkee, Mkie, Mckee, Mckie, Mack* and also all Andrews and all Williams and all Scots born 1810 +-10 You would also think the name Licurgis or Sicurgis would pick up something using Sic*, Lic*, Suc* and Luc* You would also think that having an older wife born in Vermont or Connecticut would turn up something. This family is just not there 1841-1858 There is one possible William Mackie at 304 Grand? in Brooklyn1850/1851 but I can't pick him up on the census. See: http://search.labs.familysearch.org/recordsearch/start.html#p=4 There are two Lemuel BEEBE's listed. 1850. CT Fairfield County. Danbury - page 88A Lemuel Beebe: age 57 - farmer - born: CT Johanna " " : age 58 - born CT Hannah Seeley - age 48 born CT Wm. Sherman - age 28 born CT Richard Turkington - age 23 born CT 1850. PA. Susquehanna County. Bridgewater: No occupation given. Lemuel Beebe, age: blank; born NY Affarina " " age: blank; born: Mass I also found several articles on Lemuel Beebe of Danbury, CT in www.GenealogyBank.com <http://www.genealogybank.com/> Let me know if you'd like those.
