I believe a family by the name of Wicks occupied a lovely newer home on Lakeville Road, with a large goldfish pond in the front but the Old house remained for quite awhile in back and was used for storage until it burnt down. As I recall the farm was known as a potato farm. I believe the family had at least two daughters that attended school in Great Neck. Someone told me once quite awhile ago that the Old Wicks Farm House had a very interesting history which I would like to find out about.
