Thought I would again post my surname interests. I am looking for information on John Russell Roberts. He was a parishioner of St. James Methodist Church in Lynbrook, New York. Worked for the Queensborough Gas and Electric Company. Bought house at 41 Clark Ave. in Lynbrook in 1903. (Wasn't known as Clark Avenue until after WWII). He died in 1941 from pneumonia which set in after a fall in which he broke his leg. I'd like to find an obituary but haven't been able to obtain any Newsday microfilm through inter-library loan. I'd also like to find information about his wife, Lydia Jane (Watts) Roberts who died about 1920. I'd appreciate any input. TIA, Aletha Roberts
