Where would one find wills and deeds from the Port Washington area in the late 1880s. Would they be in the Queens court system or in Nassau County? Many thanks for any help. Nate Carter
Dear Nate: Nassau County wasn't set up until 1899 so for late 1880's you have to go to Jamaica to the Surrogate's Court for LofAs and Probates. Best regards. Nancy.
