    3. The Long Island Collection (Room?) at the Queensboro Public Library in Jamaica has microfilm copies of some directories for some Long Island communities for some years (some deal, huh?). They have a website and they (used to) answer emails. I don't think they'll do a lookup for you but they can probably tell you what they have. It's been years since I've been there; I used the directories at the library. Perhaps another more knowledgeable lister can give you better information. Nancy Coleman?
