Started looking at your past posts on the Totten family and by is it confusing. Seems that maybe the Richard Totten in the cemetery I found may not be yours, unless he remarried after Mary died. Funny though, I can't find any other Richard Tottens on the 1880 census in the Queens area. Have you seen his family on the 1850 census? He his living in NYC as a 'cartman' with wife Mary and two children, Emma and Josephine (so it seems that Josephine was born in 1849 as opposed to what you have in your notes - 1951), also Mary and Caroline Bloom (13 and 11), looks like Richard's step-daughters? You've got me intrigued now!
