I am quite sure that the spelling of the surname is correct, since it is mentioned in several military documents. It is possible however that only Max' brother Harold W. Schwartz and his family were living in Rockville Centre on 105 Hampshire Road. Max had to supply the Air Force with a contact-address in case something might happen to him.
