If he was there, the spelling could be way off. There are too many Max Schwartz' born in 1909 in NY to see which one might be him. There is only one family shown in RVC with the name of Schwartz, and he is not in it. Many families came from Brooklyn or Manhattan to live on Long Island. The name of his parents would help or any other info.
