The only one that comes close is a John that was born about 1895. Had a father Daniel (born in Ire.-father widowed in 1910). Then could only find this John in 1930 living with wife's (Lillian Barton Herlihy) family and son John Jr. Looks like son is 4½. They are in Brooklyn. If this sounds like it could be them, I will email the census page to you. Oh just found the same family in 1900 with the mother, Mary (born in Ire). Other children, Thomas, Mary and Agnes. John's middle initial is G. In Brooklyn. Daniel's sister is Minnie. 1910 added children are Lawrence, Daniel and Anna (no Agnes in 1910).
