Trying to obtain inf. re: Birth date & parents of Adam Cromwell, b 1801 (hopefully) in Fonda, N.Y. - need exact date if possible Also, have rec'd. conflicting inf. on parents: Dr. Phillip Cromwell & Magdalene Lewis Phillip Cromwell & Lenah Lewis (probably same as above) Phillip Cromwell & Maria Graft (or Craft) The inf. from Carlisle, N.Y. Cemetery (according to family records - burial of Adam's parents) show Philip I. Cromwell, b July 16,1774 (?), d Nov. 29, 1857, age 83 yrs,, 4 mos. 13 days. Wife: Mary, b 1776 ?, died June 19, 1828, in the 52nd. year of her age. The inf. from Esperance, N.Y Cemetery Adam Cromwell, b 1801 ?, d Oct. 30, 1875, age 74 Did Phillip Cromwell have 2 wives, Lena (Lenah) & Mary or is Mary, (Magdalene or Maria) I wrote to the City Clerk's office in Fonda - but they say "at least" 2 months before they can research this.
