Hello listers. My 6th ggrandfather was Ambrose Potter, who died in Johnstown, 17 April 1822. To find a possible will or probate file for him would I search for it in Mongomery Co, or would it be in Fulton Co? Where would I need to write to find such files. Thanks for the help.
