The Lost Baptisms were performed (1807-1834) by Rev. John Calvin Toll while he was pastor of three Reformed Dutch Churches of Montgomery Co., NY. The records consist of eight handwritten pages that had been donated to the Schenectady Co. Historical Society by the Toll family. They were in bad shape, some names and dates destroyed by scotch tape. The Society gave me permission to post an INDEX, but not the transcribed records. This was disappointing, but not unreasonable. As I was told, if they had all of their specialty items posted, people would not have to visit the Society and it would cease to exist. They charge a $5 daily visitor's fee, except to members. The index is now posted on my website.
