I have found the name of Frederick Putman, Jr., the list. How do I go about receiving a transcript? Bob Putnam McHenry, IL
Bob I would be interested in sharing info on your Frederick Putman Jr. If he is the same one as in my family then I would like to know. Do you know his parents and any dates. I had a cousin look up my Samuel Reese in those files this is what he wrote me back by the way this Samuel Reese would be a cousin or ours. Hi Karen, I checked this one out today and don't think he's ours. The record date is Nov 27th 1808 and this Samuel was born Oct 1, 1808. This seems much too late for our Samuel, if we are to believe his census records. His parents were Henry Reese and Elizebeth Rickard. There is, however, an interesting coincidence. Baptized in the same year were Betsy, born 4th of July to Frederick Putman jr and Margeret Bernhardt, and Cathrine, daughter of John Putman and Elizebeth Wagoner. If you are interested, I'll give you the citations and page number of the source Ken At 10:53 AM 08/22/2000 -0400, you wrote: > I have found the name of Frederick Putman, Jr., the list.
