Tammy: For what ever it may be worth, [and I suggest it may not be very much], FTM's CD#312, Census Index, indicates there was a Silas MEEKER on page 416 of the Montgomery Co., NY 1800 census with 00101-2000100 1 male 16 and under 25, 1 male 45 and up, 2 females under 10, and 1 female 45 and up. in the household. My CAUTION to you is that for several of my ancestors the numbers on this CD were reversed for the gender and the above may not be correct. I have no way of knowing without looking at the actual census record at an FHC or the State of MI Library in Lansing, MI or a National Archives facility. If you know the family and the following fits better maybe this is more correct: 20001-0010100 2 males under 10, 1 male 45 and up, 1 female 16 to under 25, and 1 female 45 and up. Sorry this is not more specific! Regardless, please find a copy of the census and look to be sure. Maybe another subscriber has a copy and can verify which may be correct. Richard, Thank you for the info. I'm not really sure which is right but at least it is something. I am looking for syblings of a Daniel Meeker who was born about 1750 so this is really a good lead. Thanks.
