Darci, As I understand it, my immigrant ancestor was John/Johann Christian Garlock, son of Hans Garlock/Gerlock arrived at West Camp in 1710 from Queen Ann's Camp in England, eventually the family claimed land in the Stone Arabia Patent. Steven Garlick left the Mohawk Valley for Providence, Bedford, PA where his son, David Gaston joined the Mormon Church and moved West. Evidently they were called Garlick in PA and David's descendants are all Garlick. I left a big gap here, but it is a rough outline of my Garlicks. I have several questions on this line. I do have some cemetery records and other records, but am hesitant to state anything as definite - the name change and christianization of the names makes it difficult to follow the line. I also have a "legend" about an indian medicine woman/princess in my line. I sure would like to verify I have some Mohawk blood. But, I know that I better not count on it.
