I am looking for information on the family of W. Harrison Cook. He married Eliza Ann Vrooman in Fonda 19 Sept 1839. He has been mentioned by the Palatine Historical Society (Cook Co. Il) as being the person responsible for proposing the name of the town, after his hometown of Palatine Bridge NY. A recent article in that town about the town history mentions his surname as "Cook (formerly Koch)". Can anyone help me figure out who his family was?
