Grasping at straws here. The 1790 Columbia cocensus mentions a Henry Fall of Kinderhook, who I believe was married to my great something aunt Elizabeth Slack Falls. In 1790 my Slacks were in Kinderhook as well. The only Henry Fall in 1800 was in Herkimer Co. In 1810 Elizabeth Fall, as well as members of the Slack family, were in Amsterdam, Montgomery Co. Elizabeth's father, Benajah/Beneagah Slack died in 1818, and his will mentions grandchildren Benajah, Mary and Ann Fauls. (the will also mentions another grandson, Nathan Slack who was my ancestor). I find no trace of Benajah Fall/Fauls after 1818. Is it possible that the name Fauls and Foltz were the same? Anyone have ideas.
