Dear Lisa, By now you probably have enough requests to tie you up for a year, but I humbly add another. I am looking for information on a Cook. Our family history has him as W. Cook who married Eliza Ann Vrooman 19 Sept 1839. The Vrooman history has Eliza's husband as Harrison Cook. Both histories agree as to where the couple moved to (Cook County Ill). I have found references to William Cook, W. Harrison Cook and William Harrison Cook in the areas they are known to have moved to. The couple had a son William Harrison Cook, so I am assuming the person I am after has the full name of William Harrison Cook. I was given a tip that there was a William Harrison Henry Cook born to Caspar Cook and Anna Eva Richards in Stone Arabia 24 Oct 1813. I am looking for more information on the family of Caspar and Anna Eva, to see if I can find some collaborating information as to whether this is my man. Thank you so much for any information. Tracy, I finally did your lookup and here is what I found. There was a William H Cook born 1882 to John and Harriet L Cook. This is much later than your time period. But I copied it off in case you want it. There was a Casper J Cook of Palatine mentioned as having a daughter named Maria, who married Peter G Fox. b ca 1820. I copied this off also. There was no mention of who Casper's wife was. I checked the index for The History of Montgomery County and found none of your names on the index. Please ggive me your address and I will send you what I have.
