Hi Lisa, What time period do these sketches cover? I have several families that were located in what became Herkimer County and Oneida County. The surnames are FORBES, HELMER, KANE AND HART. If this history includes these families, I would be interested. Carol, The time period for Fulton and Montgomery Counties is from earliest inhabitants to 1892. For Jefferson it is until 1865. Hi Lisa. I greatly appreciate you offering your time and resources. When you find the time, I am trying to find data on the BARNES family that resided in the Montgomery/Herkimer areas. Specifically, Norway, Newport, Ames, Canajoharie, and Sprout Brook areas. Some of the other surnames are MILLER, SMITH, SNYDER, KENNEDY, VAN EVERA, SHAUT, MARKEL, MAILLEFERT, and BELLMAN.
