Like B and V, they are often misteken for one another. I have Teutsch ancestors in my family lines... have you found any evidence that your George Deutsch could have been George Teutsch? If you think there could be any connection, I would be interested in hearing back from you. My Teutsch ancestors were from Schifferstadt, Germany.
