Do you have id on any/all the people in addition to Mary and husband? The image I have is a full length view of them standing outside; Mary is wearing a dark dress. They seem rather formally dressed, so I wonder if it was taken at some "event." A wedding? It is undated. Do you have that one? Mary was born in little Mundelfingen which is about 12 miles from the Swiss border. She arrived in New York with her parents, Joseph and Caroline (Ebi) Hall, and a lot of brothers and sisters in May 1854. It appears the family came to boomtown Rochester immediately. 1854 was the peak year for German-speaking immigation to Rochester. My email is [email protected] Send me your snail mail, so I can send you more info. It's great to find another Hall descendent. I have now meet four distant male cousins (we'll work it out to see if we are third or fourth cousins). Each descend from one of Mary's brothers. Did you grow up in Rochester?
