But the police records per se, including in some cases pictures of the people, are likely held at the Municipal Archives and Records Center, 414 Andrews St, Rochester, New York, 14604, phone (585) 428-7331. The downside of this is that we believe that there is only one staff person still working there. So, if you write or call, please allow a bit of time for an answer. We recall seeing such large books of cases over there; where the actual court records or arrest records might be is open to discussion. Civil court indexes might be at the Monroe County Clerk's office at 39 West Main St. Rochester NY, and those indexes are open to the public to examine.
