Carrie Eliz. (HIE) married Albert R. Ostrander in Monroe Cty abt 1907. Carrie was b. in Ontario Canada in Oct 1887, the d/o James Isaac Hie and Mary Jane (HARRIS) - she died 28 Feb 1926 in the Iola Sanitarium in Monroe Cty. Carrie was a younger sister to my Great Grandmother, Lillian (Hie) Covington Austin Sherman. Albert, b. 1889 in Michigan, parent's names unknown. After Carrie's death and before the 1930 census was taken, Albert married # 2 wife, Amy C ?, who had also been married before to ?? HAMILTON & had three daughters by him: Edith C., Doris E. and Bessie M. I have reason to believe Albert Ostrander may have died in 1976 in Binghamton, Broome Cty, NY but this has not yet been validated. Carrie and Albert had 3 daughters: Marion (died abt 3 yrs), Ruth (died at 9m.), and Geraldine (m. Raymond PROVEE) and had 5 children: Dorothy, Marilyn, Janet, Raymond Jr. and James Albert. In addition, Carrie and Albert had one son named James, who died at abt the age of 16 - he's buried in Parma Union Cemetery in Hilton, Monroe Cty., NY. I have reason to believe Geraldine and husband, Raymond Sr. may have lived in Dade County, FL for a number of years, obtained a divorce there and that's where Raymond Sr. died in 1998. I would appreciate hearing from anyone who is a descendant of the above named persons or who may provide assistance with validating missing information.
