There are 2 George Bianchis that died at an advanced age here in Rochester, and both are buried in Holy Sepulcher Catholic cemetery. One was born 8 November 1892, and had an obit in the papers of 1 Feb 1982 - which might not be the man in whom you are interested, The other one [George S Bianchi] was born 18 Oct 1916, and his obit appeared 25 November 2007. He was 88, and a veteran, which seems to agree with you information. There was no other information about him in the obit other than the cemetery and his survivors, of who there are many. As far as WW II records, Googling air force ww ii records yielded a web site: http://www.afhra.af.mil/; perhaps they can point you in the right direction for finding out more details.
