There is a Mary C Sheehan on 1 March 2005, which cannot be the lady for whom you look. However, Wilbur "Pony" Sheehan's obit indicates that he was survived by his wife Mary Martin Sheehan, and she is indeed listed in the death index, with an obit appearing in the Democrat and Chronicle of 2 August 1997.
