I have his info (wife, child, parents), but my problem is that he never appears on any census records past 1892. I know that he lived in Rochester up until about 1919. He shows up in the Rochester City Directory from 1899 to approx 1919. I've tried entering "Silas" "Cyrus" "Syras" and even "Serious". Cyrus is not a very common name. I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong. I want to see who he lived with after his wife passed in 1894. Any suggestions? P.S. - His info is as follows: Cyrus Edward Bennett, born about 1866 in either NY or Maine. Born to George Bennett and Melissa West of Nova Scotia. Married Katherin "Kate" Williams (b: 1867 d: 1894). One child, George Henry Bennett 1887-1923 (Buffalo, NY). Cyrus may have passed away in Niagara. Based on a news clipping, it appears he may have moved there to be near his brother.
