Hi, Ron I am descended from Elizabeth KILBY and Nehemiah WESTON through their daughter Alma (b Aug 1794/5 in Wethersfield, Hartford Co., Connecticut and died 9 May 1872 in Oswego, Kendall Co., Illinois). Alma married John MOORE (b 10 Sep 1796 in Ireland, died 13 Apr 1865 in Kendall Co., Illinois) before 1817 in Parma, Monroe Co., New York. Their first child, my ggggrandfather Addison C. MOORE was born 12 Jun 1817 in Clarkson, Monroe Co., New York so the WESTONs should be looked for throughout Monroe Co., NY with searches of Michigan and Illinois to Iowa as migration routes. A couple of years ago, there was a well-researched article on our Nehemiah WESTON who died 13 Mar 1850 in Farmington, Oakland Co., Michigan. I am not able to get to my files right now, but I have a copy of the article and can certainly find the reference for you (it was published in TAG or NEHGS or a journal of that caliber) by a cousin. Have you read the article? I would be interested in comparing notes and sharing info with you. The WESTONs were an interesting family, Nehemiah having been one of the more adventursome of them.
