He would have been ten years old, and likely he did not travel alone - although his parents may or may not have come with him. And that 1900 census states that he was naturalized - though at that time we do not believe that they asked the actual town of origin. I don't know if these families are related. However, one thing you might want to keep in mind is that O'Her(r)on is not found in Ireland; it's often the Americanization of the surname Ahern(e).     3. If you search the Holy Sepulchre records for "Heron", you will find Patrick J. and Bertha J. buried in the same plot, Patrick in 1945, and Bertha in 1948. I did not try the other spellings (without the "O") for the rest of the family, but they may be there also. That is a quirk I have noticed in the HSC records previously. Ellen
