I found a marrigage record.. Early Vital Records from Gates, NY (1848 - 1850) Marriages Oct. 20, 1848 Worthington Hagaman(groom-age 28) and Susan Hagaman (bride-age 19). No clue if Susan is a cousin or what her maiden name migh be.. They are also listed on 1850 Westerlo NY census with dau Mary age 4m. Can anyone give me a lead to this family?? Would either of them be related to David Hagaman (Hagaman historic home located at Rochester in Monroe County, New York. It was constructed about 1840). Joseph The website listed in the email will give you up to 1930 in directories. For the timeframe you were looking, you would need to go to the archives on Andrew St to be able to copy them, or for a fee they would probably copy them for you. I have the directories that I purchased over the years up to about 1970, that is why I was able to give you the information from the 1957 directory, which is information collected during the last quarter of 1956. However, Wilbur "Pony" Sheehan's obit indicates that he was survived by his wife Mary Martin Sheehan, and she is indeed listed in the death index, with an obit appearing in the Democrat and Chronicle of 2 August 1997. From what I am given to understand, the indexing of the database seems to crash the city's server. Since they manage to pay everyone every two weeks and keep track of other things with the main computer, I find that a touch hard to believe. What I do believe is that the "new" company doesn't know their rearward orifice from an excavation in terra firma. Just sayin. But I seriously do not know when it will be back for good.
