..food for thought....Scrooge's mother died when he was born, if I remember correctly,and his father sent him off to boarding school at a young age and was cold towards him, and his fiance decided she did not want a workaholic for a husband. So he immersed himself in work and money, like many Americans do today. People nowadays don't think about that. Just food for thought.
