Tim, Is there a mention of a James C Brown (b. 1827) or his son, Leroy J. Brown (b. 1885) or his grandson, Sheldon Brown (b. 1883, d. 1937) in the diary or history? I don't have a lot of info on these individual, but they lived in the southern Madison county area. Thanks! Barb

Does anyone know of a family named Brown whose children were "adopted out" to a family named Atkinson? This would have been in the 1920's, I believe.
