H, re-enlisted Syracuse, NY Sept 3, 1864, mustered in Sept 3, 1864, married, merchant, was taken prisoner at Cedar Creek, VA on Nov. 12, 1864, sent to Libby Prison and to Andersonville, paroled in April 1865 and died from disease contracted in prison in about two weeks after reaching home - still in the service. (Buried at Fayetteville, NY. (Section 2) under a civilian stone, Kepler.) (Name appears on the Town of Manlius Civil War Monument.) (Cameron enlisted in Co. C, 122nd Regt. on Aug. 28, 1862 and was discharged as a 1st Lieut. Dec. 3, 1862, Swinfen.) (Buried Fayetteville Cemetery, 1839-1865, ae. 25 at decease.) M, Nov. 12, 1864; captured in action, Nov. 12, 1864, at Cedar Creek, VA; paroled March 10, 1865; died, Apr. 11, 1865, at Dewitt, N.Y.; commissioned Capt., Sept. 26, 1864, with rank from Sept. 24, 1864, original, Phisterer.)
