Hi, Tim, Jean, and others, A friend of ours found a place in Glens Falls, NY that makes peanut butter-filled ribbon candy. This was about 2 years ago. He sent for 2 lbs. ($32,50). He said it did not have as much peanut butter filling as the old kind. And he spread additional peanut butter on it as he ate it. Hmmm. That , I think, was what made Carlon Candy so successful--they paid close attention as the ribbons came through to see that it was really well filled. No skimping on it. The result was soft and delicious ribbons that did not shatter as you ate it.
