Hi Peggy You might want to obtain their Marriage License and that would give the names of his parents, DOB and where. I remember a place called Williams Corners but I think it is in Madison County near Morrisville but it might not be the same place since Tn of Plainfield would be Otsego Co. I believe. But perhaps a local paper Archives (Morrisville Papers) would give more information in her Obit. You can get them inter Library Loan per the NY Newspaper Project http://www.nysl.nysed.gov/nysnp/ Regards Pat R

Thanks Pat- my grandma saved a lot of obits from the people she knew from NY- she had tons of them,my sis-in-law and I spent 2 hours one night laminating them. just do not know much about the WHALEY fellow and would be nice to have some info on him,since he did marry Stella Edick- she was my grandma's sister- just funny no one knew much of him.
