At a dead standstill! Have Alden MASON b. Nov 30 1805 in Swanzey Bristol Co MA - d. Apr 16 1883 DeRuyter Madison Co NY; m. Rhoda DUNBAR b. May 6, 1810 in RI - d. Apr 14, 1858 in Palermo Oswego Co NY; m. u/k; son was James b. Aug 1848(my gr-grandfather). Other than census of 1850 to 1880, can find no references to Alden. Anyone have anything on him? Also, trying to i.d. Alden as a son/nephew of Isaac MASON. There are several Isaacs in the NY area. Is there anything in a local hx which might have these names indexed? Thanks! Sherry in IL
