    3. I'm hoping that there is someone out there with some information about a family who lived in the Town of Lenox in 1830 and also would have lived somewhere in Madison County in 1820, although I can't determine where. The only pieces of information I have are from a death certificate and from the 1830 US Census for the Town of Lenox: * Jeremiah Montgomery - was born between 1780 and 1790 * Rebecca (Rowley) Montgomery - was born between 1780 and 1790 * A daughter Sarah Montgomery - was born in Madison County on May 17, 1818. * A son - born 1815-1820 * A son - born 1820-1825 * A son - born 1825-1830 * A second daughter - born 1815-1820 Sarah was my ancestor. She first married Thomas Lamb, with whom she had 3 children, and lived in Smyrna in 1840. After Thomas died, she married my ancestor, Abram D. Ward, and lived in the Otego, Morris, Oneonta area until her death in 1887. There is a fairly unreadable census record from the Town of Florida in 1820 that could possibly be them, although probably not. There are many other Montgomery's in Madison County in that era who are probably related to Jeremiah, and I'd like to make that connection. Also, If anyone knows of a possible connection for Rebecca Rowley, I'd appreciate any help you can provide. Thanks, Max Ward
