Hi Tim Question from message #7 on a very recent newsletter Tim Stonewall mentioned a "Mount Hope Cemetery across from McDonnell's" on his trip to, I believe would be Norwich, NY. I have a Civil War ancestor who is buried in a Mount Hope Cemetery could this be the right cemetery? He was Jefferson County, NY. What county is Norwich in? Also, are there records of gravestone inscriptions available. Earlier information about him was that he was buried in Cypress Hills Cemetery, In Brooklyn, but he is not there.
