Tim- I enjoyed the details of your recent travels on route 12, etc. If I only had a $ for each time I have driven route 12 on visits to the Upstate area since I was born and brought up. And the snow and ice can be more than a little challenging. Some of the towns you mention are well known to us from our past forays into the area.
