hi, again didn't find Silas, but found his father listed in the book of "Pioneers of Madison co." Aaron Gates, Lebanon juror, 1807, died Aug 26,1826 age 50, buried in Lebanon Reservoir. Wife , Bedinah. son Silas A. there's a Gates Cemetery in Sullivan, n.y. maybe you should try to check it out. there are other Gates listed, but not connected to Lebanon hope this helps in some way, have a nice day, doris
