As a matter of fact, this information may help. My Isaac is buried in a private cemetery in Oswego County NY: Sayles Cemetery. It had a Civil War insignia at his gravesite 1861-65 but I did not think this fit with the date of birth I had on him which was early 1772-5. Do not know who placed it there, had tried to find out on my visit this past summer, but to no avail. Thanks for your help! Any additional is appreciated.
