    3. If anyone has info or comment on the following please contact Mr. Thompson and this list. Thanks, Tim --------------------------------------------------- I thought for sure the THOMPSON's lived in Madison Center area, from 1811 until about 1834, when several family of them moved to Erie Co. NY. We had found a listing for an Isaac T. who died in 1811, and is listed as being buried on the high hill, in Madison Center, it was known as the Old Meeting House Burying Grounds. In fact Thomas THOMPSON [b. 1753] had a son named Isaac who would have been 32 years old in 1811, the same information on the marker found in that cemetery by Trey Williams, who is now restoring that old cemetery, and recently located that old marker again. But now, because census records from 1820 and 1830, list the THOMPSON's in Hamilton, not Madison, we are thinking that we may be wrong about Isaac, and in fact they may have lived closer to Hamilton. Thomas probably died before 1820, as his wife shows up in Hamilton in the 1830 Census and in 1840 in Erie Co. Thanks for any help or suggestions you may have for me. Are there any tax or poll records that go back that far that you know of, perhaps some THOMPSONs owned the land where that Thompson Cem. now sits. Denny Thompson dna@newnorth.net
