I just got off the phone with Ed Diringer, the grounds-keeper at Fyler Cemetery, and I'm afraid that until the 1950's there aren't very good records to be found. He does have a few handwritten pieces of information, but said that the record keeping was really poor in the past. I told him that at this time I was looking particularly for some of the Beeman's that I couldn't find last night for Beth. He thinks that he knows where I missed them and he is going to meet me there on Saturday to show me. It seems to me that there was a listing of an old Bolivar Cemetery which showed Silas Fyler as being buried there and last night I saw a large stone for Silas Fyler at the Fyler Cemetery! If anyone knows where I can find a listing for the Bolivar Cemetery, please let me know. Happy Hunting, Carol
Bummer about the records, I am afraid there are alot of cemeteries out there like this. We have a couple also, it is amazing how so many places kept such good birth records but not deaths? I am so excited to see what you have found, I really appreciate your time in doing this. Can't wait to see the pictures. I am off to a family reunion in Indiana tomorrow so if you email me with anything that is where I will be, back in the evening though, it is only 3 hours one way there.
