    1. Re: [NYMADISO] Family Bible (some useful info)
    2. Hi Sharon, I got some info that may be of use to you. Frank Van Buskirk is associated with Tully, Onondaga County (Syracuse), New York, and is buried in the Tully Cemetery. For a brief time he moved from Tully to Binghamton, Broome, NY When he moved back to Tully, he left a son Earnest in Binghamton. Laurence Van Buskirk, b 1919 in Binghamton and died in 1989 (location unknown) was probably a grandson of Earnest. Robert went back to Tully with his father. He appears on the 1920 census with wife Nella and a son Elbert. In the brief search I made, I could find no info on Robert, Nella, and Elbert. After 1920, Frank apparently had no Van Buskirk descendants in Tully, however he did have a younger brother, Charles. Charles had a granddaughter, Jeanne, who was born in Tully in 1919. I do not know who she married, where she moved to, or if she is yet dead. I would recommend contacting the Onondaga County genealogy or historical society. They may help you find a living descendant, or accept and preserve the bible. If that does not work out, I would love to have the bible, which I would preserve. I am a sixth cousin, several times removed from Frank. Bob Evans Allen, Texas
