I stopped at a yard sale and found an old family Bible whichi purchased for 50 cents. I would like to see it returned to the family members. It was given by Rev. & Mrs. John V Darrow and family on the marraige of Frank VanBuskirk to Emma Damon at Cardif on the 26th Nov 1873. Later given to Robert by his Mother. Witnesses were Frank Park, Ella Pennock, W.H Bunnell, M.E. Partor(? writing difficult but first 4 letters are certian) The VanBuskirk children listed are John, Ella, Kathryn, Judd, Ida, Ernest, Robert and Donald. Marraiges are Ella to Charles Vandenburg, Kathryn to Vern Youngs, Judd to Isadell Avery, Ernest to Leona Adams, Robert to Nella Hibbard, Donald to Addie Morse. There are several deaths as well. It is looking for a home. If no family can be found that are interested, what would anyone suggest be done with Bibles that are "found and rescued"? Sharon
