Joan, I just did a quick search for the BEEBE name in the Oneida County Genweb and came up with many, many listings. Go here http://www.rootsweb.com/~nyoneida/ and click on Search at the bottom left menu and type if Beebe and see if you can find your family. Wish I could find that many hits for my Decker name. Oh yes, I almost forgot, the will of your Beebe grandfather will be in the county clerk's office of the county where he died. Is Candor in Tioga County? There will be large books to go through by date and are in alphabetical order by year.
