Hi Nana, You and I responded briefly in reference to the name REDELL, as my gg grandmother's name was Hattie REDELL Tilloston, and she was born in Cazenovia, Madison Co, NY., in abt 1861; I don't have my notes in front of me. Her parents were Stephen (Stephan) Reed and Lucinda Surviva HOPKINS Reed, born 1787 and 1790. Anyway, I was just checking in to see if you have any new information about the REDELL line that might explain why my HATTIE REDELL TILLOSTON, had REDELL as her middle name? There must be a connection somewhere. With all best wishes, Debera.
Hi Debera, REDELL was my husband's name . The family was from Austria or Carpo Ruthenia and the original name was RIDILLA. As far as I know the family came late to NJ then to OH and my husband's branch to CA. I once did a search on whitepages and there are several more with the name. Also there was a Robert Redell who was from Canada my husband met at a coaching clinic. Actually I have not done any work on that line.
